Developing a FIP handbook for implementing competency-based education in pharmacy education

Competency-based education (CBE) is a viable educational approach to close training gap between ever-changing health challenges and pharmacy pharmaceutical curricula. However, the implementation of CBE into initial professional (IPET) for pharmacists slow. Thus, development handbook guide academics, educators, practitioners in implementing would be beneficial. This paper describes process developing support educators principles IPET scientists. The project involves three phases: (1) systematic review, (2) global survey, (3) handbook. provides guidance stepwise curricula, which particularly useful resource-limited settings where curriculum overhaul using might challenging.
